Public reading of original poems written by children and their mothers from Concourse House, a shelter in the Bronx, NY. The event was held at Sister’s Uptown Bookstore and Cultural Center in Harlem. Guests were invited to hear the extraordinary emerging writers from 8 years old and up and were honored for their inspirational work.
