During Covid-19 workshops moved to a virtual platform on Zoom. Weekly we wrote poems together and co-created an anthology of our work. Voices from Crisis Respites in all five boroughs and beyond, as well as children at the Concourse House and staff administration from those sites, submitted their written work to co-create, ‘Our Covid-19 Time Capsule.’ Writing poetry about a devastating and isolating year, we creatively supported each other as well as documenting and illuminating the strength we all experienced and shared, via poetry and spoken word. A pdf copy and hard copy of the anthology was send to all contributors serving also as concrete evidence that we can persevere and remain stronger together.
